DJ 504 was born and raised in New Orleans, La. He was in the marching band playing trumpet, baritone, trombone, and alto sax. After high school, DJ 504 enlisted in the U.S. Navy where he started to travel the world. In his first year in the Navy, DJ 504 was given the name "HeadHunter" because he was recording local rappers with just headphones and a laptop. He later transferred to Bahrain when he was asked by Moon Plaza owner to DJ the New Years Eve party. Being only his first time DJing, DJ 504 was given the name "DJ Vendetta" (due to V for Vendetta) because of his raw form and his music section. When DJ 504 transferred to Norfolk, VA, he was given the name DJ Hunter because it was more natural. DJ 504 would go to various clubs overseas and burn his own mix tapes and tear up the club. It was to the point where DJ 504 drew a crowd every place he went. DJ 504 transferred to Charleston, SC where DJ Hunter was laid to rest and DJ 504 was born. DJ 504 deejayed at various locations including Skyy Lounge, Pete and Rita's, 106, and JC's etc. Currently DJ 504 is a part of the Charleston DJ's Forum and collaborates with various DJ's such as Boss Hogg (mentor), DJ Cory Bee (mentor) and others. DJ 504 is known to represent New Orleans East and the dirty south wherever is spins.
